I paid it on mine (well technically, financed that additional grand for 7 years). I was told it's to do with the city/highway rating is. My city rating was 14 and the EPA minimum is currently 15. Any vehicle under the 15 has the guzzler tax. Including SUV's and pickups.

I bought the pull tab from Etsy and that was one of the best things I could have ever bought. Vapor Blue is horrible for fingerprints and OCD as well. I'd recommend it all day long to anyone that will listen!

I bought the Matte finish screen protector from Anchor Room for mine. Probably the best money I've spent yet. Absolutely no fingerprints or smudges. Worth every penny!
