I am pleased with mine after fitting the Steeda X-pipe. With the active exhaust, it is adjustable from mild to wild. The tone is excellent, too.
Thank you fellow X-Pipe owner. I too have added the Steeda X-Pipe with Resonator delete and it did wonders for the GT!!! So I just went ahead and added the Corsa Sport Axle-Back Active Exhaust (ordered through Steeda) with the Black tips and MY O’ MY!!!!! Talk about being and sounding ANGRY!!! If “Rasp” is the High Note similar to the Voodoo FPC then call it LOVE. Nothing against the H-Pipe but I’m sure I made MY right decision. Can’t go wrong either way but to each their own.

Does anyone have any sound clips on the Steeda H Pipe Res Delete for non-active dual exhaust? I’m only seeing AE quad tip videos online and wondering what, if any, the sound difference is. Thanks

I just threw a MBRP Sport cat back on. Not too expensive and it comes with an H pipe. Sounds good on start up but when you get on it, its loud.

I've found the base gt mufflers to muck up the h or x pipe sound too much. Still too tinny when it gets into the revs for me for me, it does sound deeper. base gt non active with h pipe. Skip to 5 minutes 54 second mark for sound clip.

Muffler delete with resonator start up at 5:30 mark. Just to give a comparison. I prefer the resonator with muffler delete. An h pipe with a small res would give more sound without the drone and a bit more volume.

2024 GT premium, non-active exhaust. I’d like a little more sound, but no drone or obnoxiously loud. I had a magnaflow on my truck that provided a lower, deep sound. Looking for something similar. Again not crazy loud, no droning on the highway, and don’t like the “rasp” sound. Just low, deep muscle sounds.

What the best?
I just installed Roush axle back hi-flow mufflers. Easy install, quality mufflers, matte black 4" tips. Added the perfect amount of growl and barking. Nice, deep tone, no cackling or obnoxious, just great sound. Downshifting gives me a little barking here and there, which makes me happy. Literally under an hour to do. Would recommend 110%. If only I could get paid every time I say that.....

Just installed a steeda h-pipe on my non active exhaust GT. Sounds great, basically a little louder version of it from stock.
