I've got the Brembos and 20 x 9 wheels. After viewing a couple of other Forum Member's 19 x 11--305/35R/19 and 19 x 10--285/35R/19 conversions I have to admit I really like the look/stance.

Not really concerned about the rears as there is obviously enough room between the outside surface of my rear caliper and the inside surface of the wheel barrel to safely drop down to a 19" wheel/tire.

What about the fronts though? On my Focus RS; the OEM wheel was 19 x 8, "but" some makes and models of 18" wheels would fit over the front calipers with proper clearance. if you wanted to go a -1 size change. Are our GTs the same? Some 19" wheels will fit, but not others? TY!

They probably will but check the exact wheel online. There are even some 18's that fit.

I had the 19" Performance Package staggered setup from the factory and have since installed aftermarket 19x11 / 19x10. Two comments:

1. Any wheels which will fit a PP car (19" w/ Brembos) will fit your car with the Brembos and 20" wheels.

2. There are some 19" wheels which will not fit the car with the Brembos just as there are also 19" wheels that will not fit the car even with the standard brakes. There are many factors to fitment in addition to clearing the brakes. The key is to verify fitment prior to purchasing. I've found most wheels designed to fit the Mustang will state whether or not they fit those with Brembos.

I think different springs help the stance more than going from 20s to 19s. I could be wrong.

Perhaps. But if I lowered my GT any with the way the **** roads and streets around here are; it wouldn't be a GT anymore. It'd be an asphalt plow!
