One thing that makes the wording kind of suspicious is that is says the Hybrid S650 will deliver V8 power, but not that it will BE a V8.2.3T, 3.5TT. 5.0, 5.2
Idk man that 3.5TT is vicious, especially if they can get even more out of it!As much as it pains me, I think the V8 will become the niche engine. However, as long as it's remains an option for the duration of S650 (& S750, please Ford!!!) I'll be happy.
Topnotch's engine line-up makes sense......although I wouldn't be surprised to see the 2.7 Ecoboost instead of the 3.5. The 3.0 in the Continental has already shown they can get 400hp from just 3 litres!
Personally, I think either 2.7 or 3.5 V6s will be superb in the Mustang........but my heart will still belong to the V8s![]()
But what you're not saying is that the 5.0 will probably exist for 2 model years alongside the 3.5TT before getting the axe;2.3T, 3.5TT. 5.0, 5.2
This is not going to impact the US anytime in the near future. They have different emission standards, different taxation rates based on engine size, different taste for diesel engines. They have different requirements for their vehicles (much better public transportation systems).
That's pretty cool, took me a sec to figure out what I was looking at lol
The Fusion concept doesn't look half bad - the nose is a bit aggressive, but I suspect that will be dialed down a bit when it's released in a few years.
They are finally doing what other companies do for years?
