I’ll be picking up a 2024 in the next few weeks and have being doing some research on the screens.

my question is for the screen on the right hand side when configured to show whatever gauges you select can you also have google maps on the right part of that screen or do you have to exit and show maps alone?

Thanks in advance

IIRC, google maps only shows up when AA is running. So no.

I guess that’s why I have seen anyone do it.. Thank you for the quick reply. Im sure it will take some getting used to, navigating around those different screens seems to be more then S550. I’m just use to the S550 12” instrument / 8” sync and toggle switches which seem easier to navigate through. Dale

If you are running Android Auto, you can click the button that takes it out of full screen (it looks like 4 little arrows forming a box in the upper right of the screen, along the top). You can then have Google Maps (or Waze if you are a Wazer) up on the screen, and a smaller screen on the right that you can swipe through to show the Ford navigation screen, tire pressure, lane keeping system, or stereo/Sirius XM.

if you have the gauges up, there is nothing else that can be shown on the screen at the same time, but the driver's screen will show the current song title being played, and your next turn will show there as well if you have a route programmed in.

Sirius XM Bro-tip: Let the initial 3 month trial run out. They should extend you a pretty sweet offer after a couple of "three extra months for free, then pay full price" offers. I got an offer for $4/month for the full access.

thank you for the info

Nice on the $4 a month. I’m currently paying full price on my 19, I’ll cancel that subscription and hopefully work a deal like that for the ‘24.

86pagt,
I never had to pay full price. Just refuse to pay what they offer and they will reduce it. I used to pay approximately $5-7 dollars per month, which would change from year to year. Two years ago I signed for a plan that is $9.75 per month but they can never raise the price. That price includes the taxes and fees. Glenn

Sirius XM gave me 3 yeas for $99 on my wifes car. I didn't renew after that but they gave it to me again. I like Spotify and Pandora better.

If you are into music, Sirius is less than quality level. I subscribe to YouTube and get all of YouTube at home and YouTube Music in my car through Bluetooth. I make my own playlists and also let it choose some for me. Yeah, it costs more, but you get more for $15/month.
