2024 California Special - Thoughts?

I love the CS package. But I have to say that because mine is scheduled to build the last week of Nov. Black convertible, manual GT exactly how I want it.

I read all the CS haters but a car is personal and sometimes I feel like people forget, this is suppose to be a FUN car; or a midlife crisis. If a little flash of blue speaks to you, go for it. To me, I loved it and I can’t wait for mine to arrive.

I‘m not a hater but I am among those who always dissed the CS as being kinda a Barbie package with no real performance or handling benefit. Then last week I caught myself eyeballing the $12K RTR Spec1 package and thinking it’d look good on a black car. Nothing really but cosmetics. So there you go; I’m totally two faced!

I’ve had my Oxford White CS since February. A few things I’ve noticed since owning it is the blue stripes get lost in the shadows. They appear to blend in with the black. The same with the grill badge. I didn’t get the the performance package so I don’t have the blue accent wheels. At first I wasn’t a big fan of the pictures of the wheels, but after seeing them in person they’re not too bad. No real big plans in the modification department. I plan on taking it to shop and get some ideas on adding some hood stripes to break up the overall vanilla look. I will post pics if this plan comes to fruition. First picture of grill from about 10 ft away. Emblem lower left corner. Side view about 15 ft away. Enjoy the new ride when you get it. That’s what it’s all about, “personal enjoyment.”

I'm getting ready to order the same except a coupe, love the blue on black. I'm expecting Ford to drop the blue trim after 2025 model.

Looks good! The blue does not stand out as much on the black as it does on the white - a good thing. Also, yours doesn't have the blue wheels.

Funny - you have a black mustang parked next to your black Ford Truck. My white Mustang (this CS or another one) is going to be parked next to my white Ford Truck and my wife's white Explorer ST. We know what our favorite color vehicles are!

Funny you should say that about the two black vehicles. I needed a work truck in 2015 and it was the only one i could find in a hurry.

Thanks, yep I did black with the performance pack so I could get the blue wheels. Dealer estimated 6-9 months but I’m hoping sooner.
