Essentially, the fuses are wrong for any manual I try to obtain via normal means. That is, the manual in the centre console, the manual on Ford CA or COM with my VIN, or just picking the 2024 manual. I did find this manual as verified correct for at least some fuse locations:

https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...S&div=f&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web

Where as this one is borked (what I get going to ford.com, ford.ca, or in my console):

https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...N&div=f&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web

Also, as a secondary... the console manual and the web manual are terrible for seeing fuse numbers. In some cases you cannot even tell the fuse number when zooming in, only the PDF manual works for that.

Mine is a *very* late 2024, Sept 09 build, wondering if I got a 2025 fuse box? I can't find a manual there to confirm, and the AUS tag above is weird too.

Anyone else experiencing similar? Going to contact Ford on Monday.

BORKED version:

Not to make excuses for Ford, but considering all the variables, it's not surprising. Physical components, print runs and stock, site updates, US, AUS, CAN and EU versions.

Thanks for finding the differences. I agree the photos/diagrams can be better. The resolution is often so poor, even modest magnification results in blurring.

Dug a bit more into this.

One thing that is helpful is to right click on an image in the web version, and 'view image in new tab' if your browser supports it. Then remove the 'w=600&' part of the url, which makes it only 600 wide.

Here it is with the w=600& removed, and you can now see numbers clearly:

https://www.fordservicecontent.com/images/imagen/imagen2.dll?id=E371300_EUR&t=JPG

For AUS owners, which don't have a PDF manual available on their Ford site, this can be invaluable, so I'm going to tag for Google here: Australian, Australia Ford 2024 User Manual fusebox!

I printed this out and put it in my glovebox for now.

I also ran a 'diff', which just compares the text of things. I did it against the US and AUS version of the 'under hood' fusebox, here's what is different:

AUS: 9 20 A Ignition coils.
US: 9 20 A Vehicle power 4.

AUS: 30 40 A Driver power seat.
US: 30 40 A Driver power seat. Driver seat module.

US: 35 30 A Not used (spare).

AUS: 38 30 A Heated seats control module.
US: 38 30 A Climate controlled seat.

AUS: 68 20 A Steering column lock.
US: 68 20 A Electronic steering column lock.

AUS: 84A 30 A Not used (spare).
US: 84A 60 A Not used (spare).

AUS: 109 30 A Not used (spare).

AUS: 139 5 A USB charge port.
US: 139 5 A USB charge port 2.

I don't see anything really worrying there. I imagine these different fuseboxes are assembled for each market, and the cables are pin-out the same.

I think I'm good, but I *really* want to know *why*.

Was this a EUR build, an AUS build, and it was changed part way through to a CAN build? I don't mind, unless of course other things are.. weird.

Still waiting to hear back via channels about this.

OK, Ford, thanks for the time waste. This is an end-of-run 2024, and there are still errors in the user manual??

Borked Ford CAN/US manuals have the fusebox orientation upside down. Here it is corrected for front/back under-hood orientation:

Here's the Australian version:

You may say "What's the big deal?". Well, you don't have a physical manual, now do you? Instead, perhaps borked on the side of the road, you peer at the entertainment screen console, at a tiny 3" wide image, with blurry numbers, and try to see what fuse is broken.

Fine detail is not what Ford apparently cares about, for said tiny image lacks clarity, it is hard to see orientation points, bah.

Anyhow, you find your fuse in this tiny diagram! And most people are going to presume that the image is orientated with front-back under hood. You take note of where it is. Maybe, position 2 in leftmost bottom column.

Now you go under the hood. You have nothing in front of you, the fusebox diagram is in car. You're remembering that the fuse is position X on the left most column, and then inspect/pull fuse. And then you discover "hey, that wasn't it!"

Anyhow.

Very annoying. I wish Ford cared about simple detail such as this. Especially when they've given tiny images on the console.

(There's no sane reason they can't give a full size image for the fusebox, they just don't because they don't care if you can read it or not. Literally, some numbers are very hard to tell on that screen)
