Whats the other product? Loving the filters so far
Thank you all for the continued support. We are getting towards the end of our current stock. When I made the order, I had expected this to last us the entire year. I am very grateful for this surprise.

Please let me know if you have any questions or recommendations. I am hoping to release another couple of filters this year and another product for the S650 but things are moving slowly.

Modestly priced good looking smooth & trim plastic/rubber intake tubes to mate to our filters? 😉

I have been working on intake box lids with a clear window to see the filters. I am trying to figure out a more cost effective option then what is currently on the market.

Awesome! I'll be in line to buy if the price is right 👍

The only reason I have not pushed this more is due to emissions. I do not want to mess with the carbon traps. I believe Cobb makes intake tubes with carbon traps for turbo charged Ford's that do not have anything in the center of the pipes. I think they are around the outside and per Cobb's testing have minimal impact on flow.

I would want to do something like that just to be safe. I am sure that will increase the cost significantly though.

Might be easier for someone who doesn't live in a state that follows CARB standards to develop as well.

My filters are pretty trashed after driving through a pretty bad dust storm. Anyway how do these compare to Snyder Performance Engineering 2024+ filters?

TIA

These are two pretty different products. The Snyder ones are likely more free flowing but not designed for filtration. There is a lot of testing data on oiled filters you can find on google.

ThInK filters are made of a synthetic nanofiber and have far superior filtration. These are designed to be a replacement for an OEM paper filter but due to the media used will outflow some oiled filters at high rpm.

Agree 100%. This reasoning is 100% why I bought these filters. I will be hitting the 6k mile mark (3000 miles since filters installed) this week and this weekends task will be cleaning and drying the filters. I'll snap a few pics for the thread. My intent is clean every 3k miles unless I note that they are quite clean (doubtful, the air in Phoenix is terrible).
For good measure I will check the intake tubes for particulates.
Alright... Life got in the way so I just today pulled filters.
Installed at 3,000 miles, today car is at 8,000. Did an oil change, pulled and inspected filters.
Very clean... almost in like new condition. I expected them to be a LOT dirtier then they were given my OEM's were quite dirty at 3k miles and Phoenix is not known for having clean air. Pulled them off to clean, rinsed right off with hose no problems. Inspected the intake tubes on both sides of the carbon traps looking for residue or particulates and they were as clean as they were the day I put the filters on (I cleaned tubes that day to be sure I hadn't introduced crud).

Holding up great so far!!

Pics are pre-cleaning. Note that you can see how dusty the outside of the filters are and flower debris from the blooming plants.

The Snyder ones can run dry or oiled. I will never run an oil filter in any of my cars. They suck for a lot of reasons.
"" The SPE Motorsport Drop-In Filters for the 2024+ Mustang GT (sold as a part) are made from cotton non-woven filter material that can be run dry or oiled. This filters are a direct drop-in replacement for the OEM factory filter offering highly-efficient air filtration resulting in better performance and protection for your engine."

Just ordered a pair today and your team already created the shipping label. Working on weekends, eh?

I wouldn’t mind waiting a couple extra days if you take the weekend off but it was nice to see shipping information created so quickly.

Haha yeah! I use Saturday mornings to get caught up on orders from the week. Especially this week with work travel. Hopefully they make it to you quickly! Thank you for your support.
