Mine smoked way worse and the dealer told me it is normal even though it is not. service advisor told me to wait until I hit 5k and do my first oil change. I took it with 1400 miles, i doubt they are going to do anything and probably just a waste of time but let us know, maybe you will have better luck.
Yup some people at dealership are more kind.

@Q6543 ...... I wouldn't term posters asking about noises as complaining. I agree that engines have been and still are noisy - now different operating noises. In the past most were valve train related now there are all sorts of clicks and weird noises many that come from the electronics. That said, other than "possibly" a puff of water vapor out your pipes there should not be blackish or bluish "smoke" coming out. BTW if you have a bad valve stem seal (already reported on some 2024 GTs) there will be a puff of bluish smoke on start up that will not be seen after that - so it would not necessarily and actually unlikely stay smoking while driving unless there was a very serious issue, multiple valve stem seals or a ring(s). On a cold day after about 30 seconds a small puff of white "smoke" condensation comes out the pipes of my 2024GT. After that nothing - which is normal. Other colors coming out the pipes at any other time are not normal.

Yeah the light bluish puff comes out of the tailpipe then goes away, then when everything sort of warms up then the condensation steam comes out.

Hey OP, to me that seems like a normal startup. If it were prolonged I would be concerned but since it is only a blip of smoke at startup only, I wouldn't worry about it.

Just so peeps know, a small amount of white smoke is usually from condensation/exhaust on a cold day, but as a general FYI for everyone when it comes to consistent exhaust smoke:

Blue smoke = burning oil
White smoke = burning coolant in combustion chamber
Black smoke = burning too much fuel
Backfire flames = having too much fun 😁

I wouldn’t worry if it’s only on cold days, but when I got it in October 2024, it does shoot the much more smoke on hot days 80+ degrees on start ups. If it’s condensation steam I wouldn’t worry but to me it got a hint of blue to it. This video car sits about 4 hours after it’s driven.

This is a no brainer ..... 99% of the time blackish is rich fuel (not normal), whitish is condensation (normal), bluish is oil (not normal). Check it out will be easy to determine.

Can you help me determine if it’s white or bluish?

To get blue smoke past the cats you'd have to make a ton of it

Idk , imma just gonna get past the break in period and I’ll take in to have them run a diagnostic or some sort of test. I think this engine does burn some oil.

@S650sunshine ..... it appears bluish to me. That would mean oil getting into where it should not be. That said, it may be no big deal at all. My friend had a new Ford Explorer 400 RT (400 HP twin Turbo) it is about 6 months old with about 1500 miles on it. He noticed some smoke under his hood and oil drips on the driveway. He was really worried. It was a flawed valve cover gasket leaking oil onto engine and exhaust. No big deal - covered under warranty. Your tech can do a number to tests to isolate the problem. The whitish smoke that is condensation is white vapor and is quite normal. Bluish puffs are almost always oil - usually internal and NOT normal. Hopefully just a crap valve stem seal or some malfunctioning valve. This should be a no brainer, totally easy issue to deal with by a decent Ford dealer get it to them soon so you'll know.

@Gregs24 ..... happened to a family member too but we aren't talking VW blackish smoke here, right? The question was bluish smoke and in my experience that is oil derived. I bet and hope it's a simple fix.
