Two weeks? And they haven't announced what's going on with the 2025 Mustang yet besides the one 60th Anniversary Package? That seems like a really quick turnaround, but I've no idea if that's normal for model year transitions.

Mid June is not when they change over model years at the assembly plant, it is simply the day they stop taking retail orders. If they have orders for 3 months of production and plan to switch over in the plant this fall then do the math.

There doesn't really seem to be much new going on for 2025. The anniversary edition is just cosmetic. Assembly plants don't really "make" much of anything these days. They screw, weld, snap and glue a bunch of parts that are made elsewhere together. Paint is about the only complicated process in a modern assembly plant.

Good to know. Thank you Zengineer. I'm just curious as ever as to what the new/returning/retiring exterior colors will be, if any. (And if any other new noteworthy cosmetic packages will be offered.)

Edit: I found this at Element Fleet. Not sure how credible they are, but perhaps it's a glimpse of what's to come?

"Summer 2024" should be when the order banks open up for the 2025 Mustang, if I'm reading into this correctly. I'll assume we'll get a hearty helping of info sometime right before then.

(I seriously don't know how or why I didn't catch this sooner.)

Assuming the books close mid-June, I would imagine MY2025 would open for orders in July and start building in October.
