It took a week or two to get my "we've received your order" email. I placed my order with the dealership mid-April and got my first email from Ford on May 1st.

Got my VIN today.. seems it will be built sometime in July. Also submitted my details to update the stats.

If you’re waiting to be scheduled, chat Ford customer service and ask about your order. I waited almost 6 weeks and heard nothing. Chatted Ford to inquire today. Was given my VIN and a 7/22 week of build date. Five minutes later my dealership called me saying they got a email with the same information. Coincidence??? Wish I had chatted Ford a month ago. Just saying! Ha!

Is there a way to know if a dealer really has allocation for a DH order? I just placed the order 3 days ago (feels like months LOL) and reading horror stories of people ending up buying one from the lot a year later is scary to say the least.

A little disappointed, my original build date was june 17, moved it up to june 10 and just last week it was pushed out to july 15.

I ordered my GT on 5/18/24 at invoice pricing. Dealer said it will be a bit before I get my vin #

The only difference between your build and mine is yours is a convertible/automatic, mine is coupe/manual. Hope ti see one of them built soon.

Just got a text from my dealer today stating my VIN has been made, order was placed 05/23/2024. So far this is what my timeline and build looks like. I might end up paying MSRP, BUT I did convince my dealer to install a block heater for me which was mutually exclusive on the GT Performance Package from the factory for some reason, with install labour approx. $1500 added value!

Ordered 5/2/2024 (GT Base Coupe Nite pony, actie exhaust, 301A), still unscheduled and now has been at stop build for 3 weeks. . . going to chat Ford Customer Service as I saw that can speed the process up

My production week was postponed from week of 07/22 to 08/05 about 10 days ago. I have just checked order tracking and noticed the status has been changed to "in production".
Should i think positive and expect delivery of my car earlier? or this web site is no longer reliable.... i am confused.

I say think positive! Haha. My GT convertible was pushed back to 8/23. I ordered on 5/18

Put your VIN in on the Ford website (https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=) if your VIN is coming up with a Window Sticker now it'll have your blend date, which is your actual production date. Chances are you're with the rest of us in the August 5th batch who got our window stickers generated today.

Chances are you're with the rest of us in the August 5th batch who got our window stickers generated today.

Thanks for the information. I was able to view my window sticker and yes, you're right! Blend date shows Aug-06 that means i am with you guys in the Aug 5th batch...
Was a good learning experience.
