With the 2025 Mustang sad Colour Palate mostly shades of Grey/Silver/Silver-Blue, and the deletion of Atlas Blue, with no alternative replacement (like Velocity Blue), the 2025 Maverick gains up some great colours (inc Velocity Blue & Eruption Green).

The obvious question - Why NOT the Mustang ??

We sell every member we can get and there's a waiting list for them. The hybrid ones are actually excellent vehicles. Mustangs, I'm surprised Ford hasn't gone back to Henry's original idea any color you want as long as it's black. Is anybody seen an ad for a new mustang?

I haven't seen an ad for a Mustang in years. It's a niche market for Mustang. Hey probably sell themselves to the point that wasting revenue on commercials isn't worth the cost. Just my 2 cents. I could be wrong.

I agree about the advertising, and the same is true for the Camaro. But Dodge advertised the hell out of of Challengers and Mustangs, and outsold them for many years. We get zero advertising info, flyers, posters or anything for the Mustang at the dealership. I have several 24x36 posters of Shelby's, Mach One's, Bullits etc, you'd think they'd send something for the Dark Horse. I know that brochures have gone the way of the dinosaur, except for F-150, which is the one vehicle that sells itself.

Social media is king now. Tons of advertising there.

How long ago did you know about the 7th gen? And the DH? A long time ago, because social media.

Advertising is a thing of the past

I agree, but then we get stacks of stuff for F-150 and F-250, King Ranch etc, and of course Mach E and Lighnting.

Maverick way outsells the Mustang, sadly. Follow the money.
More sales means more investment into the product.
I'm sure Ford will give a new color to the Mustang over the next few years.
I don't like it... but can you really blame Ford for doing it?
There isn't any competition Ford has to deal with from Dodge or Chevy. They don't need to innovate on the Mustang nor advertise it. It still sells itself.
One could definitely argue that there is competition from BMW or Audi for sporty coups but the likelihood of those buyers cross shopping those vehicles with a Mustang is probably slim.

I bought a BLACK Mustang GT since it was a second choice to a color that FORD forgot about. I tried to find Race Red or Rapid Red but a 200 mile search by me and my FORD Dealer found no cars equipped like my black car. I wanted A-10, Brembo Brakes, Exhaust, Premium Trim, and Bronze Package or Deluxe Wheels.
I didn't want to wait a year for an order. (I'm 78)!
The lots are full of shades of gray! No thanks!
The lots are full of beautiful loaded convertibles with the cheap looking base wheel. Is it a parts shortage or poor ordering?
I like my black GT. Black is the only color that hides the black grill.
The dash is another story....
