I ordered my 24 mustang last month, just got an update saying that it will be the 2025 model, build date is november, and expected for a march arrival!?

also, what happened to the black pack? Since it's a 2025 model, am i forced to pick no black pack? or the ugly bronze pack?

Welcome!

That appears to be the two choices available to you.

I can’t believe ford has dropped the black pack.
Its a miracle we're getting any Mustangs I reckon. Ford Aus is just so useless at everything. They really just want to sell Ranger and nothing else it seems.

2nd time Mustang owner from a 2017 GT FM with Grabber Blue to this new 2024 beauty. I couldn’t change colour - I love the grabber so much!

Sent it away for a few days for paint correction and ceramic coat. Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra with Exo, Including Wheel Faces and Gtechniq C4 Permanent Plastic Trim Protectant on all the black plastic external and internal trim.

Same guy did my last car 7 years ago and best decision I made back then and doing same this time - paintwork was perfect, incredible depth of shine with minimal effort to maintain.

The plastic trim protectant was an addition this time
and im thrilled. Gives a slight gloss to the black plastics and great hydrophobic quality. I’m assured it will maintain the colour for life without fading.

Anyone in Melbourne interested I’m happy to refer you.

Tips are from Mustang Motorsport - advertised for 2015-2023 but they fit 2024 perfectly. I went with the black chrome and so pleased that I did.

Paint protection done by Wrap Industries Port Melbourne - ask for Sam and just mention my blue GT.

Awesome thanks. Car looks bloody beautiful. Congrats.
You’re welcome and thank you. I couldn’t be happier. Having done proper ceramic coast on my previous car (not the dealer crap) its money very well spent.

Looking good, Grabber Blue was my original colour choice, now getting envious.

Good to know the tips fit (no pun intended) as they're a big improvement on the stock tips.

I know Ford are having no problem selling every single Mustang they land in Australia, but I kinda wish they would do an entry level Mustang GT for those who don't want all the bells and whistles and just want a V8 at a lower price. In other words, no Premium Package or Performance Package, no options like Magneride/Recaro's/Appearance Pack ect, just a choice of colour and transmission. I'd probably keep the leather trim and Active Exhuast.

Something similar to the car below, also, check out the auto-rev-match trick they uncovered, probably don't do that if you have a manual..............................

I don't think and entry level GT would degrade the Mustang's statis, a fully loaded GT or Darkhorse would still hold value and appeal, but it might sway buyers away from a used S550. Perhaps a run of 500, maybe called a Mustang GT Core, GT-C, GT C-Spec...............or maybe Mustang GT Sprint?

I think it’s a case of us not having the sales demand and in turn production demand to support another variation. I can’t see it happening.
