Whipple may have figured this out. The lead for the intercooler pump goes into the abs fuse location. The new whip has pockets for 2 fuses, one for the circulator, one for the abs. Not sure what I was thinking, but he was correct that I never installed the original fuse in the 2nd, bottom location. Not sure if it's a fix quite yet, but it sure seems like it will be. I gotta believe I will always carry a 10 mm wrench, just in case!!

Im having a similar issue car start but check engine on after less than 1300 miles smh

Just had this happen to me. Built in April 2024 - Purchased May 2024 - about 7700 miles on it and happened December 2024.
Car wouldn't start - when I could get it started (remote or otherwise) it would die as soon as you put it in gear. Seemingly every error message in the book rotating on screen (service engine soon, backup error, lane keeping error, etc..) Too many to mention. Wish I had taken a video.

Same thing, tons of error messages, plugged in my Snap On scanner ( thank God I just updated my software for 2024 cars!) and I had pages and pages of error codes from every system in the car
long story short since there were so many codes and the scanner was being a tad finicky, I popped the battery cover off and disconnected the - terminal, waited 2 minutes and put it back on
Car is fine now but it leaves me with a WTF feeling
The car sat for 8 days, not enough to drain the battery, it did not go into battery save mode, it would not jump start off my 200A shop charger, a couple of times when it would start as soon as I put it into gear it died.
Unfortunately this site never lets me post pics so I can't share the screen shots from the scanner.
But it was every system in the car that had codes and a lot of them were lack of communication codes

What do you think will be the best thing for me to do? I have a couple of project set up for my car and I definitely need to disconnect the battery maybe once or twice this winter I don’t wanna jack up my computer from my car and definite don’t wanna get stranded And get that WTF feeling as well. This computer thing in our modern vehicles are outrageous. Do you know if you can help me find a trend on proper disconnection and connection of battery? I don’t really wanna take my car to the dealer to get it reprogram. I’ve heard some of the newer BMW Lexus Mercedes-Benz are like that.

you should be able to pop the battery cover off (three 1/4 turn fasteners on the cover) in back of the passenger side strut tower and disconnect the battery
You may notice the car drives differently at first when you hook it back up as some of the EFI mapping comes from learning your driving style, the Transmission shift points too.
Disconnecting the battery doesn't really do much except wipes out some memory functions that are easily re-programmed or re-learned
