You should be able to hear it working in the boot / trunkHello everyone. I bought new mustang 2.3 coupe with B&O audio system.
It was my dream car when I was young boy, finally I bought it when I'm alsmot 50.
Anyway I found that better suound is expected through replacement subwoofer, today morning,
I changed subwoofer to PIONEER subwoofer
After replacement, during playing speechless, OST of aladin, I touched subwoofer box, however
I could not feel any vibration, even though big low beat was coming.
In my experience, I could feel low beat and sound was stronger in cabin after replacement, but
I could not any vibration of woofer box.
Is tiny or no vibration is normal?
My new subwoofer is PIONEER TS-A250D4.You should be able to hear it working in the boot / trunk
If you got the wiring incorrect the two supplies could be cancelling each other out?
Is your sub a dual voice coil? The sub in the diagram is a dual voice coil.My new subwoofer is PIONEER TS-A250D4.
I touched subwoofer cone directly, but I can not any vibration.
And no sound from subwoofer.
But in cabin, I felt that the sound is more lower.
It's so strange.
And I worked with the video in below as a reference.
But in this video, I can not learn how to wire.
So for wiring, I worked with the video in below as a reference.
If you don't mind, can you explain me how to wiring?
I connected simply, each original + line to + connector of subwoofer, each original - line to - connector of subwoofer.
Or do I have to follow below wiring?

That may give it a 2 ohm load and may blow amp. I wired 3 JL 10W6 with 6 ohm voice coils to make a 4 ohm load to a bridged 1000 watt amp. I would consult someone at a car stereo. What you want is a 4 ohm load. Your present speaker, I believe, may be 4 ohm each voice coil.My new subwoofer is PIONEER TS-A250D4 and As I know, this subwoofer is dual voice coil.

In below video prepared by 'Tuxon Speed", PIONEER TS-A250D4 was used, I could not find how to wiring.
In other below video, also PIONEER TS-A250D4 was used, it seems that new wiring is same with
OEM wiring.
Below diagram is my current wiring.

Is it correct? or please let me know correct one.

Thank you for your kind reply. However I could not find 2 pair line to 2 connectors like mustang case.I found a site on How to wire a dual voice coil speaker. The guy is a specialist. Sound certified.com
It's been many years since I dealt with dual voice coil. I used a single VC 18" with a Fosgate amp in my Mustang. I did the work fitting the sub into a round box that goes into the wheel well. Put the amp under my seat. Pounds real nice. The rest of my family has the B&Os. The guy on the site seems to have great experience.Thank you for your kind reply. However I could not find 2 pair line to 2 connectors like mustang case.
