I agree. If you’re looking for the same ride quality with lowering springs, the Steeda progressives are a good bet. I had them on my non-Magneride S550 and also on my Magneride S650 and there is very little difference ride quality for daily driving from stock. You wouldn’t want them if there were. The reason that lowering springs have higher spring rates is if the spring was allowed to compress just as much combined with shorter allowed travel you would be on bump stops causing a worse ride than if you just got the higher rates. The closest thing to what you’re looking for are the Steeda Progressives.
Big difference between mag ride and non mag ride? Mine doesn’t have it and I’ve always wondered.I agree. The biggest difference to me is in the change from normal to sport or track and how well it stiffens up the suspension. It is definitely subjective, but I would say the non-Magneride feels somewhere between the normal and sport mode with Magneride as far as stiffness/comfort. After having Magneride, I would never go without it if at all possible on any future purchase.Big difference between mag ride and non mag ride? Mine doesn’t have it and I’ve always wondered.
