European Ford cars have been very good for a while and still are.bevause they didn’t make quality cars. They looked good. Ram good for a limited time. But they weren’t built well and were patchwork efforts combined will old carryover Frankensteined with new.
gross. Why would anyone buy that when they could buy a better car from Honda, Toyota, Hyundai or BMW at similar price points.
so here is ford saying they want to introduce some new cars, 4 door, Baja, etc. I’ll take them at their word.
and also maintain that an all new mustang platform is the best starting point for this to happen.
An ancient platform that’s already been holding the car back since the s550 gained weight over the s197 isn’t the answer. If Chevy could create an alpha platform, ford can do better. They don’t need a million different cars. Just a few, quality ones. And every one of them would benefit - as would ford and Lincoln.
just stay away from the new jaguar branding and it will be great.
