Anybody else having any issue with the screens?

Stupid electronics. Not sure if it is my phone or the screens. #1 is more serious concern because once they freeze you cannot change the AC/Heat.

1. Screen seems to freeze. Need to turn off and start the car again . Happens randomly.
2. Apple car play seems to disconnect and reconnect randomly.

Volume down and the next button on the steering wheel reboots the screen so that you don’t need to restart the vehicle.

I figured other folks may chime in, I did have CarPlay issues when I first got mine back end of September, but shortly after there was an update and I very rarely have to reboot the screen or have CarPlay issues. Someone better than me can link the thread for the updates our cars get.
I will say I do both the wireless and wired CarPlay? Wired CarPlay skips songs instantly when pressed while wireless I found has a slight delay after pressing next. But I plug my phone into the port. I find it’s half and half. Sometimes it’ll hardwire CarPlay and sometimes it’ll wireless despite being plugged in.

yeah, wireless is delayed in songs. Wired has many issues on mine. Disconnects randomly, even when I accelerate at high speeds looks like there is an interference from somewhere and the music is chopped. Maybe is the cable who knows....or maybe the car will explode lol.

I sometimes have issue #2. Maybe once or twice a month happens. Its annoying. Ford needs to upgrade the chip that handles the speed of the system so its faster and trouble free.

My 2024 GT 401A premium works as advertised.
I have an Apple phone and I always leave CarPlay on and I always have my playlist on when I get in the vehicle and start it. The next song on CarPlay automatically plays.
I also have my playlist on shuffle.
When I first got the car May 17, 2024 I use the US B cord? to hook in my phone but it seems like all the songs just loaded up.
If I want to listen to an SiriusXM station I use the voice command. I have stations already loaded, but I never use them. I always use the voice command.
My build date is April 26, 2024.
The only real issues I’ve had with my Mustang is that my wife sometimes leaves popcorn on the floor.
It drives me crazy.

This saved me yesterday. Worked like a charm.

Apple car randomly disconnected. Then I remember this trick, hold volume down and the next button on the steering wheel and it rebooted. Apple car connected automatically and I was happy.
