Anybody else think their ‘24 AVE V-8 Mustang is louder than an S550?

It’s of course subjective but I’d bet that in track mode my new AVE ‘24 GT is a good bit louder than any of my AVE S550s in track mode, including even my ‘23 Mach 1. I mean, this ‘24 GT is loud af! I’m not complaining mind you, I love it. I run my cars in track mode 100% of the time to feed the addiction.

But this seems real noticeable to me and I just wondered if there was a reason for it or maybe I’m just imagining it.

If the mufflers and mid pipes aren't exactly the same it won't sound exactly the same

I don't know about AVE but my 2019 GT with Borla S-Types was louder than my 2024 GT with Corsa Extremes from inside the car. Outside, i'm not sure. With that said, my 2024 GT with the Flowmaster Outlaws that I had on it was louder than both, lol.

I guess maybe I should have stipulated I was talking about stock cars. I thought, well…

I love the Flowmaster outlaw exhaust sound, but ever since they moved production to China I refuse to buy from them again until it comes back to America. I'm looking at the Borla ATAK currently instead despite the higher price. The Borla is a better system all around and is made with 304 stainless vs 409 for the Flowmaster kit, but I do like that chambered muffler sound.

The Flowmaster outlaws aren’t chambered, just small bullets on a 3” catback. Very deep and loud.

Yeah...they sound great! I have the American Thunder on my F-150 that I bought when it was still American made. Love that exhaust note.

I had a bone stock 2021 and now have a bone stock 2024. (both have/had active exhaust)

I too think it's a little louder.

When you think about it, it does make sense... Its making a little more HP and breathing with both nostrils

Well that’s a good point.

I really didn’t think it’s my imagination.
