Indeed, I wasn't expecting to see this thing until April/May-ish. May be partially the dealer (Five Star Ford) I ordered from, they seem to get a lot of specialty models and love from Ford.

Hi all, I ordered a GT on April 3 to get in on the employee sale pricing which runs through June 2. That brings up a question that someone on this site may know does the sale predicate off of the date you order the car or does the sale end June 2? Also, how can I look up my build just by the email FORD sends, or is there a website I can go to? Thanks for any help. I really appreciate it.

I saw a quote that said that if ordered that you get that price. When I ordered mine I actually got a similar deal than this from my dealer. It is on a train to Colorado right now.
There is nothing to be tracked until you get scheduled. When that occurs you will get the projected week if your production and the VIN. With the order number and VIN you can track it, although not much info provided but dates of

On the day the order was submitted by the dealer to Ford you should have received an email from Ford confirming that they received the order from the dealer for you.
Also my dealer provided me with a copy of a dealer internal pricing sheet that included the MSRP, my customer info, and the sales price. Also provided the DORA ( DEALER ORDER RECEIPT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT) which shows the details of the order that was sent to Ford (important for you to have/see so that you can confirm that the order submitted is optioned and will be built the way you want). Mistakes can occur and you want to catch them right away.

I did receive the email from Ford stating the car is ordered. I also received the DORA ( DEALER ORDER RECEIPT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. The build is correct with all the options I ordered.

Mine was not signed by me. They might call it something else but they should provide you with a signed/initialed by them worksheet or draft invoice or something that gives you your sale price.
Just checked the order web site for mine and the projected dates for delivery to dealer just updated to 4/11-17, so a day earlier. Indicates the train is getting closer to Denver. I’m getting excited.
