We’re on our 3rd vert, ‘11 Camaro, ‘16 GT and this ‘24 GT. Our ‘16 was completely trouble free the 5 1/2 years we owned it. 2nd the windscreen. It just calms the air around you and makes it more comfortable. After we sold our ‘16 I thought that maybe our next one would be a coupe. But when we decided to get another one neither of us wanted a coupe. We wanted a fun car for road trips. The vert checked all the boxes.

That's the exact one I've been on the fence about. Can you give a review of it? Especially as far as wind and noise reduction is concerned? Is it worth it?? I figured the seats thing might be an issue with the way it attaches but I'd rather do it that way than drill into the vehicle!
Pros:
I really like the look of it. Glad I spent the extra for hard-wiring to tail lights (invisible) and the optional remote control is nice to change colors or do special effects. I had a local car audio guy do the install it was the same as wiring rear monitors for kids' DVD players. The control module (if you buy the multi-light) is out of sight under the passenger seat secured with Velcro. My wife noticed a considerable drop in her hair blowing all over the place and we can carry on a conversation on the highway. Directions want the windows up while driving with the top down, but that's not what I bought the car for. I made a 15 second video of mine here.

Cons:
Need to adjust both seats simultaneously. Just like my old one, the material is very sensitive to fingerprints so you literally need to use the white gloves that come with it to handle it or clean it with a special solution that also comes with it. I never intended to have more than 1 passenger, but when I needed to get my nephew from the hospital I literally picked up my wife and placed her in the backseat so he could sit up front. If you have any expectation for using the back seat as an actual seat you will find that challenging to get there and you will have a police-style barricade blocking your conversation. When I get in the car, I can hear the material creak just a little, but I have had this since the fall and I don't see any damage anywhere.

Summary:
Good product, but consider your usage carefully. I cannot recommend if you share the car or need 2+ passengers. Does what it is supposed to do and looks great doing it.

I've been driving convertibles since I was 16 and that's a lot of years ago. 68 Datsun 1600, 69 Datsun 1600, 2000, 2012, 2015 and now 2024 Mustangs. Would not have it any other way. Oh, and, absolutely no regrets!

How is the wind deflector treating you?? Been on the fence about one. Does it really block wind in your face? What about noise especially??
Fits like a glove and the installation in super easy. You can take on & off in a snap. No drilling or anything because it attaches with straps.
But most importantly, the functionality is excellent. With the top down, windows & deflector up I was driving topless in early March (I'm in LI, NY and got the car in early Feb.). Also, the road noise is gone, you can keep a conversation while driving at 70 mph.

Thanks for the video! I may get one. Only 1 passenger usually

I was reading the plastic trim flakes off, have you had that happen?

2005 F-150 4X4. Waiting on 2024 GT convertible in
In 2016 bought a clean low mileage 08 GT/CS convertible to see how I would like owning one. I had rented one once. Really enjoyed it for 6 years until a Caddy Escalade ran a red light and t-boned me. Ordered my 24 GT convertible in March of 23 received it in late September. Zero regrets it makes me happy!!

I love my 24 convertible GT I just want to be able to take it to the track without having to install a roll bar, refuse to drill holes in it

2024 convertible Mustang GT premium with every option and package including npp, PP, Magnaride. Initial thinking was my daily cruiser, never thought I'd fall in love with the speed and power like I have. Problem is I have nowhere to use it! Rented an s650 Ecoboost convertible, which is how I got introduced to the Mustang family, and got pulled over twice for speeding (just warnings luckily) so I've been extra cautious with the GT. But man I want to rip it! Not willing to drill into the car for a roll bar so tracks are probably out of the question. Starting to think I should have saved some cash and got the Ecoboost convertible as it's plenty powerful and easily doubled my current gas mileage, or got the fastback for improved aerodynamics and ability to TRACK IT without mods, but again, didn't know what I know now. Current convertible owners, how do you do it lol
Not the convertible but starting to question getting the mustang in general. For a $60,000 car and under 7,000 miles we’ve now had three electronic issues pop up in the last week. Way too much money for having issues like this. Makes me regret getting rid my Pontiac which had three issues the entire 14 years we had it.
