I recently just ordered a 25 Mustang and was curious on when others ordered theirs and how long it took for you to receive your build date?

Ordered: Jan 2 GT Premium Convertible

Received VIN & Build week: Jan 16
Build week of March 3rd (updated several times to later weeks but finally settled to week of March 10th)

Blend Date: March 13

Built Date: March 16

Ship Date: Match 17
Since headed west it went truck to the
Flat Rock Railyard and waited >2 weeks for train departure

Delivery Date: Car arrived Denver (Rolla Railyard) April 11: as of April 15 still awaiting truck transport to Colorado Springs

NOTE: Scheduling for May occurred in March; scheduling for June should occur the third week of April; once scheduled you receive your VIN and scheduled build week

Also, I live in NW Ohio so hopefully that means shipping is quick

You should find out next week. All depends upon your dealer’s allocations, constraints on parts for your specific build, and how many orders are ahead of you.

Shipping to the east seems to go faster than to the west.

Hope it works out.

I placed my order for a Dark Horse (non HP, Manual, 700A) in the beginning of January and have yet to see anything from Ford. Dealers said at the time it would take about 3-4 months which, at the time seemed reasonable. Fingers crossed I get scooped up in the next allocation cycle.

I placed my order for a Dark Horse (non HP, Manual, 700A) in the beginning of January and have yet to see anything from Ford.

A DH will be a bit different, due to the Summer tires. They should be building those now, this month (or soon, the next cycle). When the Mach 1 was being produced, we were seeing them arrive as soon as April. Overall timelines, I wouldn't be too concerned yet.

I am interested in feedback from Ford. When you placed the order, did you receive an acknowledgment from Ford, within 24 hours? If you did, great. If not, get back with the dealer, confirm your POC information. Sometimes, they enter the wrong e-mail, or, their own.

Regarding the allocation, I'd check on that. It could be allocations have just started again, due to the timelines I mentioned and it being a DH. It'd be a good time to meet with the dealer again and discuss; they can reach out to the Regional Manager for an update.

Looks like the scheduling for June is being done this week. So if you get scheduled for June you should get your week of and VIN Thursday or Friday.
