My Gurney flap came unattached in the trunk and I’d like to put it on, but there are no screws or bolts with the flap. There are 4 bolts screwed into the spoiler itself from the bottom that don’t seem to be holding anything on. Anybody know if these are supposed to be removed and then used to attach the Gurney flap? Are they long enough? The attaching holes in the flap appear to be countersunk so that would kinda make sense.

Reason for asking is that I seem to remember something about needing longer screws to attach the flap but this could well have been on a Mach 1 or earlier model year HP car.

Yes, I reused those 4 bolts. No issue 👍

Thanks much for the response.

I was concerned they might have lost the ones you were supposed to use.

I had the same concern but those screws have plenty of turns.

Clearly it must have been an earlier year model I had read about being a problem. I’m sure I saw something to that effect but I’m pleased you confirm it’s not a problem here.

I‘m guessing the HP Dark Horse isn’t on every street corner in PR?

Definitely a rarity here, turns a lot of heads. I even get asked what car is it sometimes 🤣
