Isn't the price lock in when you sign the contract? I mean if you sign at x amount regardless of delivery date don't they have to honor the price we signed for.

I know in my case I had the choice of keeping the price I signed for, or get the employee discount since my car was delivered during that period. But regardless when I sign the contract the dealer specifically told me that even if the price would go up that my price will not change.

PS: I also live in Quebec and the laws could be very different.
The paperwork you sign is basically a acknowledge of the price. It can absolutely change. Even if the paperwork says the price can`t change are you really going to take a dealership to court?

You would need to take delivery by the next 2 months to get that deal. Good luck custom ordering a mustang and getting it in 2 months...
Yeah, thanks for the education. Im fully aware how things work, as I do my own research. I've already got a custom order in. Any deals and incentives after custom order are finalized at pick up and purchase.
Im asking "Granger" why they're still saying 4%, when Ford has advertised 5% below until June 2.
So yes. I would expect the 5%, below invoice, employee discount applied at my pick up and purchase in the next month because when signing the contract to build a vehicle it states that all discounts and incentives at time of pick up will be applied to your final purchase.

If you have a delivery within that time frame I would hope Granger does the Ford employee pricing. It doesn`t cost them anything.

Telling us you have a custom order already in and it will be delivered within that time frame is a completely different conversation. I wish you would have put that in your original statement so that we didn`t get off on the right foot lol.

Hey Kris,

When it comes to Employee Pricing that Ford is doing due to the tariffs, we are doing it but we are already below that pricing by about $500 and more in some cases. So out pricing is better than Employee Pricing already.

I went to look for an Ecoboost Mustang for Grandmama. I was let down big time. The 3.55 axle has been discontinued. Really don't need all the Performance Package parts anyway, but that axle ratio would be nice. May have to go with 18" tires for off the line power. Will be my luck they're not available on the Premium. Brembos would be nice, but probably won't be needed. It'll just be a car mostly for around town and trips from DFW to Southern NM.

🤔 So...4% below invoicing is better than 5% below invoicing? Maybe I'm worse at math than I thought 🤔 I'm failing to understand the logic.

5% is better for sure, but our deal is 4% below invoice which is better than what Ford announced they are doing until June which is Employee Pricing. Our pricing of 4% below is better in that case.

Where are you seeing 5%?
