I like your list. I can see why your scrooging on B/O. Those songs can be hit or miss. Sometimes hard to get those to sound great.

There have been lots of great choices here. Listening to great songs is part of the driving experience, and we all have our favorites. Though, part of the soundtrack is supplied by the car. When I test-drove a GT with the Performance Exhaust last summer, I realized that such a sound is part of it all. I hope to continue that when my GT arrives, probably in the spring. That, and a manual transmission, is why I'm trading my BMW M340. Though, I keep going back to "They call me The Breeze; I keep blowing down the road." -Lynyrd Skynyrd

Well the sound system is disappointing to me. On my Bullitt, I have a USB-SSD drive with 863GB of HD audio files. By HD I mean 192K/24 or DSP music files. There is no way that I can see to plug in the drive and play my music like I can in the Bullitt. I have specific playlists for trips etc as well playing full albums of my favorite musicians/bands. This is a step backwards because what good is the advanced sound system when it can not play the audiophile music file on a USB drive.

As for the song, or I should say album I would use to judge the sound is a tie between Kansas - Leftoverture or Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the moon or Metalica any of them

I’ve had a hoot reading all the comments on their taste in music. One thing for sure I haven’t read one post on Bach or some 5th Symphony for sure. Not that it’s a bad idea if that’s what you like. But there seems to be no real consensus on either great (or bad lol) music or our great Mustangs. They all bring back awesome memories regardless of music genre, our taste in Mustang colors, mods or just about anything thing else Mustang EXCEPT the joy we get when hitting the road in our beloved Stang! It’s great to be an American where we still have that choice. Blessed Christmas to all and like some racer once said Keep the rubber side down!

The USB ports are charge only, I have spent a great deal of time trying all different ways to see if I could get it to work. I spend a lot of time on the road and I like to hear the high definition audio that I get in the Bullitt. It seems Ford had their head in their backside when it came to USB ports. It is the same on the Bronco as well. So this is the end of Ford cars for me. I am used to High Definition audio at home and in my Bullitt. It angers me enough to possibly dump the Dark Horse!

I have tried and tried but nothing seems to work. I am also not impressed that Ford sold out to Alexa as the Operating System for the car. Makes me have to setup an account that I don't really want. I am seriously thinking about dumping the Dark horse over this. The music I listen to is the core of my existence. What I have on my cell phone is nowhere near the quality of the music in my USB drive.

In the owners manual it says it supports USB media playback on page 146/150
It does not say what file format the USB should be or what music file types it supports i check on mine in a few days if it will play my flack stuff i got those from HD tracks.
