Got the shipped e-mail this morning. Built 8/23 shipped 8/24.

Lot of emotion and time equity into this Horse. She is going to be loved.

Went to the Itek center today where they keep most of the stangs- at least 90% of the stangs are still sitting in the lot. Not sure what they are waiting for as OKTB has been achieved for a bit now, and it’s not like they don’t have enough trucks because they are replacing the spots with new Ford Edges, and they got the cars to the lot very quick. They are taking their time for no reason

If your vehicle is listed as Built it is waiting on the shipper. Ford has no control over the shipping. Vehicles being shipped has been an issue for a while. Even pre-covid shipping seemed longer than usually if you didn't understand logistics.

Many think just because their vehicle is built is should ship out right away and it is not the case. There is a lot of planning that goes into it as they are trying to ship multiple vehicles to their respected destinations in a costly and timely manner. It is not easy and a complicated process.

They are not taking their time for no reason LOL

It's like watching grass grow... My loan is approved and ready to go. I ordered and received a new window gate sticker. Reminds me of the movie Gladiator where the fighters are in the holds under the stadium, waiting to go on stage. "Erocker" posted an in production date of 7/10 and a built date of 8/25, so by that metric I figure mine may not be built until around the first week of October. However, with the UAW contracts set to expire September 14th, I can only hope my baby will be built by then.

Anyone else not get any further emails after the scheduled for production email? My car's is literally in transit and I haven't even got the built email lol.

Just picked her up will send more tomorrow once she’s cleaned up sitting in a parking lot for 2 months dod a number it’s actually filthy and didn’t want the dealer to clean it

Yea apparently they got 3 trucks today of mustangs but I’m sure yours will be here soon

Did you get the method of transport? If train you can kind of track them when they report arrived or departed. If truck you should be able to live track the truck depending on the transport company. You usually do that by going the transport company and entering your vin.

Have you asked your salesperson for a VINview update?

My window sticker says Convoy but the latest update from Ford Chat says it's at New Boston I assume waiting for a train. My dealer says they can't track the car once its shipped soo I'm just going to wait until it shows up one day.

From what I know New Boston is a distribution terminal, meaning it is not a Ford owned lot. It looks to be a train depot like I have out here.
I have also not seen any cars be shipped via train when the window sticker says convoy.
I'd be willing to bet your car is going by truck and you would be able to track it if you knew the companies that deliver from there.

It is either shipped and you could get the shipper name through Ford Chat or Ford Marketing. Or it is waiting for other vehicles to load to get a full truck and deliver it to the near by dealerships.

Your dealer absolutely can track your vehicle through VINview, that is if they use it and I haven't seen a dealership not use it.
