Can you add paddle shifters to non performance pack s650?

Have you been able to modify any other values in the PCM module in ForScan? And what is the build date for your mustang?

On the main ForScan thread there are quite a few posts needing a BCM update for Job 1 vehicles in order to enable walk-away-lock. Not sure if that same update impacts PCM edit-ability or not. I'm by no means a ForScan expert, I've just started tinkering with it myself in the last couple of months so I haven't ever seen this error code.
It got built 08/23, haven't tried with other values in PCM, will do when I'm back from work. Pardon me for my ignorance but how does one go about updating the BCM

I don’t know the exact process, my build was a Job 2 and didn’t require it. But if you go back to the main ForScan thread with the spreadsheet you can see the conversation around it. That’s my best guess for what your issue might be.

I currently have a non-HPP - EcoBoost, I bought the darkhorse steering, and swapped the corresponding left side buttons, as swapping the steering wheel directly disabled my airbag and the whole left side button pad of the steering wheel. Unfortunately, my paddles don't seem to work even in D, I haven't messed with forscan yet, but wondering if maybe I connected something wrong? I drove and got no error codes and all buttons seem to work fine.
Were you able to get the paddles working? My car worked fine when everything was wired up but a friends car didn’t.

I just swapped my steering wheel and the paddles aren’t working either. I’ve done all the forscan steps to enable it, I can shift into M mode just fine but the paddles don’t seem to work. Something in the SCCM?

Haven’t had the time to mess arround with it yet. Starting to think it might be a Job 1 vs Job 2 situation and needing an update, might ask a technician at the dealership and see what they can do.

I read a story where a guy used paddle shifters from a Mercedes Benz. Can't remember what magazine it was. But he did it. I actually read it quickly since I was slightly interested about what the heck they were. I chose getting a six speed instead.

I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to this thread. Was able to buy the DH steering wheel and swap over the buttons this weekend.

Paddle shifters now work when the shifter is in 'D'! I haven't messed around with FORSCAN yet but will look into it soon for the gear display. Its nice being able to downshift manually now.

I have currently installed the dark horse wheel. Forscan’d to get continuous gear display. I as well cannot get the newly added M to react with the paddles. I tried the forscan code to do it and get the unable to write same as others in the thread. Has anyone been able to resolve that or point me into the direction of an forscan excel sheet to try and play around with the values?

Could you tell me what line 724-02-01 says in your SCCM module? Thanks.
