That seems to be the way these days. My last email said week of March 17, but the order web site says week of March 10th.

Looks like they did the April build scheduling last week and this week was doing cleanup for end of March and end of April. Updates on YouTube from a Kansas dealer indicated several wheel shortages and that there were still done 400+ (if I remember correctly) retail Mustang orders still not scheduled. He really emphasized the importance of the dealer that you are ordering from having allocation.

I still find it strange that Ford doesn't prioritize retail orders. Farley says he wants to but it takes five or six months to get a mustang.

I love grabber blue... This is the longest a Ford order has taken for me. My 15 mustang was 3 months, ordered several F-150s and the were all 2-4 months even during covid.

Agreed! The grabber blue is a beautiful color! Congrats on the new Mustang! Keep us posted on your journey. The delay could be due to holidays, politics, or the 2025 model year transition who knows lol you will likely have your car in mid April if I had to guess.

Perfect timing for a new mustang. Already bought a set of 20x10s that I need to put summer tires on and bunch of Steeda chassis parts in the garage :)

I’m also waiting for a March build. The waiting is driving me crazy.

Part of me wishes I went for the Grabber Blue. It looks so good.

I ordered mine in March 2024 and got it in November 2024.

I have been very happy with it. The biggest thing for me was going from no screens at all to having massive ones. Took about a week to figure it all out.

I almost messed up and bought a black 24 that was on the lot. I would've regretted not getting grabber blue.

So you've been happy with the touch screen controls? It's the only thing I'm not too excited about with the new mustang.

Yeah, I was worried it would be like the new VW system. They used capacitive touch on the steering wheel and buried HVAC controls in multiple menus. Mighty Car Mods did a great video on how bad the new VW system was. VW has changed a lot of it already.

Having the always on HVAC controls at the bottom of the screen is the best alternative to physical controls that I have seen. The wireless carplay has been amazing. It is one button to switch to the controls screen for AVE/cluster customization. The physical buttons on the steering wheel cover the rest of what I need while driving. Those are even better than buttons on the center stack. I have never used the volume knob in the mustang.
