I just had all of the interior glass tinted with 3M ceramic. What should I use to clean interior glass? Is there a product specifically made for cleaning the film? I feel kind of dumb because I didn't ask when I picked up the car yesterday.

I've always used Invisible Glass with no problem. When I had my last window tint completed they even provided a bottle of Invisible Glass cleaner to me and recommended it.

+1 for Invisible Glass. Probably the best glass cleaner out there and is tint safe. Any glass cleaner that is ammonia free should be safe as well.

Also notice the tint is hazy. I understand that's normal and will go away? Tint was installed less than 24 hours ago.

Sprayway is what our tint installer recommended. No ammonia and it works amazingly well.

Regarding the cloudiness of the tint, check with the installer. They might recommend a cure time before handling.

Invisible Glass works really well and is readily available. I've also used Gyeon's Glass cleaner. Both are safe for tint and screens.

For application, I've got something of a process.

I start on a cool car. Somewhere covered and out of direct sunlight. If in a garage, the door would be closed and the vehicle would be under low lighting.

For application, I'm currently using 100% cotton napkins. I've used microfiber, but a cotton cloth works better for me on glass. If cleaning plastic screens, I use only microfiber. For either surface, I've not had any issues.

I practice separation with materials; it not only helps prevent damage (brake dust cloth cleaning the interior screen), but transfer of cleaning supplies (decon cleaner on interior tint). For either cotton cloth or microfiber, different colors are for different purposes. For example, a microfiber screen or glass cloth doesn't touch anything other than glass or screens. For microfiber, you can often buy different colors in six packs, giving you six of one color. For me:

- White: screens and glass
- Yellow: interior leather and vinyl
- Blue, light: exterior paint
- Blue, dark: wheels and exhaust

Separate colors are washed/dried by color. Seems a bit involved, but your washing a pile of one color at a time. Depending on the color, I could go weeks or months before all of that one color need washing.

Using a reaching wand will help. Some of the angles can be very tight. It's very difficult to reach everywhere consistently if using hands only. Cleaning wands are often readily available. Wrap the towel around the head end of the wand.

Regarding amounts, enough for a smooth application, without so much it sits on the surface for a long time. Enough to clean, but any extra would evaporate off on it's own.

Funny as it sounds...

In garage
Door closed
Light from window (low lighting)
Inside car, doors closed
Clean glass by hand or wand, using cotton or microfiber
A torch, to confirm results

Cleaning the outside is much easier, but again a torch in low lighting to confirm results.

When cleaning anything, using a torch to review while in a low-light area brings out everything; it's obvious if any dirt, residue or streaks were left.

YMMV

Yes it goes away in a few days -- If you had your windshield done be mindful of any stickers (registration, toll tags, dash cams, ect.) that you install -- you may want to use Sticker Shield (or similar) to protect the film.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01466E0GS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

It lets you remove the stickers without damaging the film and resuse/reposition if necessary.

I couldn’t roll down my windows for 2 or 3 days after install so that the tint could fully adhere to the glass. I don’t recall seeing much in the way of cloudiness but it was also in the middle of summer when I had mine installed. The heat helped with the evaporation of the application fluid.

I was also told not to clean the inside of the windows for at least 1 week, again so that the film can properly bond to the windows. Earlier than that would risk moving the film.
