There is really no comparison between a Scatpack and a Scatpack Widebody or HC because the SP-WB has more tire , bigger 6 piston brakes , 3 way electromagnetic adjustable Bilsteins as also roughly 200 pounds less weight over the front than HC and stiffer springs and thicker sway bars…As for LL Times they really dont say much as one fast lap street legal race tires like Trofeos or MP are probably good for 5 seconds compared to regular street rubber…Too bad that C&D never took a SP-WB on the LL or MT never let Randy Post lap one in LagunaSeca…But these cars are a hoot on the street more fun than a SS1LE for sure as I had both ! The Mustang in comparison has too much movement in the chassis ( understeer / oversteer ) and lacks TORQUE…

After finally getting to test drive a Camaro SS I've come to the following conclusion(s)...

Challenger: Nice enough for my style of driving. It just feels too large and I don't really have any personal attachment to it as I would with the Mustang and Camaro. (R/T Scat Pack)

Camaro: LOVE the handling/performance and it shockingly didn't feel like I was in a bathtub. But the rear quarter blind spots were enough of a dealbreaker for me to stop considering one. I imagine it would be an absolute thrill to drive all out at a track! (1SS)

Mustang: No complaints aside from the lighter steering weight. The steering feedback between road and driver isn't as communicative as the Camaro, but it's still a noticeable step up over the S550. I'd happily daily drive one if I was able to. (GT without the Performance Pack)

Like I told you the Scatpack Widebody is not only much better looking than the non-WB but also drives much better ! It has much nicer interior materials Carbon / suede option package and much better quality with no squeaks or rattles…compared to Mustang or Camaro.Much more room inside and trunk , more comfortable , more TORQUE / low to mid rpm shove , fun rotation into turns and timeless good looks 👍 The Camaro compared is a sh*tbox with mattel plastics interior and Zero outward visibility as also useless due to small opening trunk but the best for trackdays because of neutral /easy to drive handling but not very fun because the LT1 feels very linear/not exciting or fun for a sports car…The Mustang sounds good but has less power everywhere except for 6500-7000 rpm 🤣 And handling is more suited to cruising than track day or fast canyon driving…Tremec is available on all 3 👍

There is no comparison of an R/T and a ScatPack. the torque and horsepower difference is the reason I was NEVER interested in the 5.7L at all. My current 2023 Chrysler 300C is a phenomenal car. with the 6.4L ScatPack motor. Only complaint was tire size being 245/45/20 GoodYear Eagle RSA. I upgraded to Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 at 275/40/20 and it rides better, quieter and is much better in rain. This pic is before tint and tire size upgrade

I had a 13 year old 5.7 Challenger with 5 speed auto and 94k miles on the clock. It would lay down 5.0 second 0-60 runs consistently.

How fast is the 6.4 Scat? 4.6? 4.5 seconds? I don't think that's night and day different. Especially when you consider the Scat has 3 additional trans gears.

An entire second faster is a big enough difference. A Scat Pack with the A8 transmission will lay down 3.9s 0-60, and I've seen them do 11.8s stock in the 1/4 mile. The 8 speed ZF trans they use is one of the best transmissions there is.

Timed with what? If you're going by the dash timer, there are guys on the Dodge forums who claim 4.0 on stock tires and 3.7 on drag radials. That's at least a second faster than your 5.0 seconds.

Then, line that 5.7 up against a 6.4 and go from 60... Massive difference. Scat will be close to 130mph when the R/T is crawling to 100mph...

The only Scatpack an A10 Mustang owner has to worry about is the 1320...

I have a fairly heavily modded ecoboost and love everything about it. The neighbor kid has a 6 year old Dodge Challenger, the thing to me looks old, looks heavy, has poor handling, a really bad interior, poor gas mileage and stupid loud.

The challenger is a more comfortable ride, no question, owned a 2021 scat pack wide body for 2 years. more torque, arguably more fun to drive, because it pushes to its edge alot slower than the mustang does. Now the 392 wide body is a completely different experience from a regular challenger or a hell cat. It was a great car and alot of fun. The mustang is more of a drivers car, it really needs a more talented driver to be able to push it than the challenger does. if you want a lazy car with a sweet sounding engine and is super comfy go with a challenger. If you want a drivers car that is alot faster and more aggresive then get the mustang. my .02
