How many of you have the charging pad that looks like this just after 2 months of ownership? Seems to "scratch" pretty easily. I cant wait for an aftermarket part for this.

What kind of case do you have on your phone? Mine doesn't look anything like that. Do you put keys there or something else with hard edges?

The only thing I put there is my phone. The case on my phone is made of rubber as well.

That is strange. Did you clean it? You sure those are scratches and not just light scuffs that come off?

Yeah I have cleaned it. They come off. But then when I put my phone there. After several days they are back.

Guess it's just the interaction between the plastic and the particular case you are using. Maybe try a different case and see if it improves. I have a leather case on my phone and no issues.

OP it must be from the phone rubbing against the material of the pad.
You definitely have a solution and I'm glad the marks/scratches on your car are coming off but dang imagine what that is going to look like for most people that don't really care.
That will look terrible after some time, especially the rental cars coming off fleet duty.

Looks like sand or similar on the pad and in front of it, you can see white specs all over the place....I'd bet that's the cause, whatever it is.

No sand whatsoever. In fact that’s taking it out and cleaning it

Would be nice to get some aftermarket pads soon. The pad that came on my 301a scratches very easily. Bought a second pad and try not to touch it.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. There is review vehicles that are in incredibly worse conditions. The wireless charging is only good for making my phone feel like lava and overheat.

I tried looking for aftermarket parts but could not find anything. Let me know if you do.
