in my opinion, i think these tail lights could be safer than factory, especially the white lenses, because the indicators are amber instead of red. so many vehicles on the road in the US have those double duty brake lights plus indicators, Technology Connections said it best. "But in the US, see red? Who knows!? You’ll have to stare at it for a moment to be sure." and i've seen Mustangs as new as 2022 have a failed tail light bar. a case could also be made by some that the lenses being red by default makes it harder for some people to see when they light up during the day, especially lights that are not LEDs. that being said, all of the previous points are still very much valid. if you do get these tail lights, it might not be a bad idea to get a 2 channel dash cam too, so you can prove that the person who rear ended you was on their phone, following too closely, or otherwise not paying attention. some final things is that Auto Addicts claims their lights are fully DOT and SAE compliant, with no mention of the lights being for off-road use only. from the pictures and videos i've seen, they might be even brighter than the factory lights too

The removal of the lights takes too many steps.
I'm not going to remove the whole bumper just to change light units. Too much risk for me breaking tabs, scratching paint, or misalign panels when reinstalling. No thanks.

Some interesting points on safety... I just don't know where you guys are driving at that the front person in a rear ender ever gets the blame... around here, the front car can have zero taillights/brakelights and they get no blame.

I don't believe you.

If the front car has zero tail lights and it drives in the dark and got rear ended it get no blame?

Lol

That is correct,,, even if the following driver states they had no taillights, and the investigating officer can clearly see they don't work, they can't determine if the accident caused the taillight failure... so therefore the following drivers is still at fault...

*edit* I should note that state law (WA) does allow for the exception of faulty taillight to mitigate blame... however, independent witnesses would be needed to verify, as they won't just "take the word" of the following driver.

We are not talking about having witnessess or not having them. You made a statement that the front vehicle is always right no matter what.

That is incorrect and you know that.

No thanks, looks like someone drained the blood out of its a$$ end or like it has cataracts. Most of the mods I like but not even close imo with this one.

The white/clear lights look awesome with the red color. Strange how europe went red now.

You must be fun at parties then! They’re bright as all heck. They brake RED and have AMBER turn signals and amber is arguably more noticeable and apparent than red because it stands out more. Had eruos on my s550 and now my s650 no problem at all.
Karens everywhere these days. I guess they didn't get the memo that the schtick is played out and it's back to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (along with industrial strength common sense) these days.

Im one of the rare people in this state (Im in Yorba Linda) that am with you 100% - unfortunately we are still the minority here (once we leave our um....certain color bubbles) ......so my comments are more to protect us from those that might disagree with us on um certain topics : )

There will always be people looking to not take responsibilities for their actions and unfortunately we live in the middle of a bunch of them lol

Awesome lights, can't wait to put these on mine when it arrives.

DOT stamp below, lights are good otherwise I doubt they would sell to the public. Also, the Mach E has clear tail lights in the states amongst several other vehicles I could think of.

How much cheaper are those from the original ones? Always good to have another set if tail lights in case something happens.
