Just ordered @SteedaTech Steeda Mustang Strut Tower Brace GT/EcoBoost (2015-2024). OTD was $191 and change including shipping insurance. Looking forward to seeing it. Will say it looks suspiciously like this or this. I'm hoping the price differential is worth it.

Drove son to school. Serpentine belt exploded on the way home. Immediately pulled over and parked. Waiting to hear back from @Ford Motor Company.

Also @Ford Motor Company, my son pointed out the perforation in the leather on one of back seat backs doesn't match the rest of the car...

Like most of the car got S550 left overs, and only one got the 650 leather. Same issue with the exhaust getting 5.0 parts on an EB.

Just rec'd strut tower brace. Product itself is packaged very well (almost too well) and it looks like excellent quality. Not a fan that instructions are not included and that, again, had to go to their website to print them out at my expense. Will install as soon as my car is back from figuring out why the hell the serpentine belt exploded.

Mustang got towed to Morries Grand Ledge Ford. Got verification from service manager that everything spins freely so they are confident no damage beyond the belt was done. 2 days out for a new belt (?!). They dropped of an 2020 Edge Titanium as a loaner, which I'm grateful to have in the interim, but not at all impressed by it. Everything, including correcting the mismatched leather, to be covered by warranty.

Just got a call saying crank case seal was leaking and that's likely the cause of the belt exploding (oil getting on it). Another 2 days to fix that.

@Ford Motor Company, this car only has 22k easy driven miles on it. Not loving this. Still love the car, but damn. My Honda I had for 9 years and only had to replace the starter (past consumables like oil, etc).

My son made this to replace the aluminum plate from the Steeda strut tower brace. Needs painting yet, but I think it looks great.

Will use high temp paint to cover, red caliper paint to fill in and out heat reflective tape on the bottom side of where it mounts.

Now being advised that the engine needs to be pulled to replace the seal. ETA 12/26.

@Ford Motor Company - 12 business (from 12/9 to 12/26) days to replace a seal and get the car back to me? What the heck happened? Car has 22k miles on it. I did get a loaner, but its an Edge vs a Mustang so I'm not exactly thrilled.

Will def affect me considering Ford in the future.

Seems like this is a known issue.

So after multiple phone calls and no answers, I showed up at the dealership and found the parts and service director. Let him know my thoughts on things.

Just ordered Variant Heliums via @Variant Wheels. 19x10 square. Will be getting 285 40 19 tires this spring and leaving the blizzaks on the stock rims.

Parts are beginning to pile up. Need warmer weather!
