Still seems overvalued to me, but that is my opinion.
When dealers have to move metal, discounts are made available.
Keep an eye on aging inventory, the longer they sit the more flexible a dealer will be on price.

I do not think this is a case of too good to be true. Now if it were a dark horse, then yeah that would be too good to be true.

I bought my Eco-Boost Premium last September for just 0ver $40K. If I bought a 2024 today (the dealer has two in stock), I'd pay about $35K. It is the price considering new ones are on the lot.

As for the one at the top of this thread, if it suits you, but it.

not a good deal at all. It's a used car. A year and a half old. Unless I missed it, I don't see a window sticker or reference to original MSRP anywhere on that page. Someone said 10K off. You can buy new in the wrapper 24 GT's starting at 8-9K off right now at most Mid Atlantic dealers. Still think it's a good deal?
Make it 12-14K off and it might start to sound like a good deal.

I'd say it needs to come down a couple thousand more to be a great deal but if you like it, go for it!

With the options listed, I googled price:

The 2024 Ford Mustang GT Premium with the GT Performance package, MagneRide dampers, and the 401A High package can cost around $62,425. The price depends on the options and trim.

Price components
  • GT Performance package: $4,995 for 19-inch wheels and tires, Brembo brakes, and more

  • MagneRide dampers: $1,750

  • 401A High package: $2,900 for a 12-speaker audio system, leather steering wheel, and more
Plus it only has 651 miles, so likely a recent purchase. I don't think it's that bad of a deal, unless you have an aversion to someone else driving it for 651 miles. If so, like I said, new 2024s can be had for 8k off now days.

Personally, I would pass. Below is why I would pass.

1. It does not have 651 miles on it. It has 853.1 miles shown in the photos.
2. Who put the 202.1 miles on at the dealership after trade in and why.
3. I have the PP and to me the front tires seem to have been pushed pretty hard into corners. I cannot say this with a lot of confidence they just appear to have more outer corner wear than I would expect on a car that is not even broken in yet.
4. My gut feeling tells me at the very least this Mustang has seen some hard driving after trade in and possible before. Refer back to #2. above.
5. I'm not one who would ever consider trading a vehicle in with only 651 miles unless it was an absolute lemon. I know people do it all the time but I still don't get it.

Plenty of reasons to explain this. Divorce. Job loss. Death. Accident or health reasons after purchase preclude you from driving it. Failure to do due diligence before buying. Lied about driving record to get insurance, they ran your driving record and your insurance premium doubled. Decided you just didn't it after driving it. Etc.

Death would definitely be a problem. I was thinking along the lines of I don't like it etc. which is hard for me to fathom. I mean who in their right mind doesn't like a Mustang GT.

Good points on the job loss, divorce etc.

Never buy a Ford from a Chevy Dealer there usually a reason why it was traded there was something was not up to par with the vehicle you never know. Just one of my rules could be nothing at all just one of my rules.
