This is how it tends to end up on the wheels (and ground) because of the foaming spray head.

Oh definitely spraying it in the brush for sure.

@DFB5.0 So I did two rounds of retyre spraying the brush and it worked great. The suds were white.

Question is:

After scrubbing they tires twice and the dried (rinsed with a pressure washer) there is like a white residue on the tire. Is that normal?

Love all of your details on detailing... you obviously have way too much time on your hands (or just never sleep, lol)... but it is immensely helpful to those of us with less time for trial and error (provided we have time to read all of your posts!) Big thanks @DFB5.0!

Answered my own question:

Carpro did leave a residue but I came off on the actual car wash.

His tip on spraying the tire brush is the way to go. Wet the tire and two sprays on the brush and it foams perfectly and DAMN does it clean a tire!!!

Armour Ghost tire sealant….Ill never use another one. Best one I’ve ever used. I used a carpro applicator…hated years ago…news flash…still do. I’ll be changing that.

Forgot the picture, this is after 24 hrs dry time. It’s not greasy or sticky.

For tire dressing applicators, I've been using brushes recently. In particular, the Detail Factory Curveball and Screwball, but they are very expensive for this role. The Maxshine knockoffs are just as good. For low profile tyres, go with the mixed bristle version and it's easier to control. For taller sidewalls, go for the synthetic version.
