Dock delays in Brisbane

Hey Binchicken, If you punch in your VIN here, does it come up with tracking info? Wondering if this is a reliable way for me to check if/when mine moves

Dont trust me? As It has already been delivered to the Dealer, it is unlikely to remain on the Tracking Data-base - as it is no longer Live Tracking..

My dealer doesn't tell me anything so just looking for a way to get info. Not sure what you mean about not trusting you..? It was a question addressed to Binchicken

As Steve said, the car has already been delivered to the Dealer so my car was removed from the database for tracking.
FrozenPea, do you know which Ship your vehicle is being transported on and to which Port?
If you have the email saying the car is being delivered then it shouldnt be too much longer for you. I know if in Brisbane the Mustangs are sent to Ford's Pre-Delivery site direct and can take up to a week depending on delivery inspection and any/or other optional extra's the car may be getting. Its odd that your Sales Rep isn't giving any info. I had mine calling just about every day since the last week before Christmas giving me updates to the status. They do only get limited updates from their internal system. It basically just tells them the status like shipped, quarantined for x amount of time, in transit to pre-delivery, and the last call I got last Friday was to tell me it arrived at Pre-delivery and will be ready by the end of this week. If I were you just call your Dealership and speak to a different Sales Rep and ask them to check their system.

Keenly interested in the Quarantine situation with our cars that have recently finally escaped from Tortugas and Tosca at Newcastle, after drifting aimlessly off Newcastle for 11 days.

• No Daylight Savings, and the novelty of daylight at 04:30 wears off pretty damn quick

• We haven't got a wall along our Southern border to stem the flow of internal migration from Sydney and Melbourne... who move up here, and add to the traffic congestion

Now who is going to volunteer to check out the Newcastle and Melbourne wharf’s for mustang arrivals ?
I would but I’m 13hrs from Newcastle and 11 hrs from Melbourne.

Thanks for the Spy-Shot !! At lease we know Mustangs were finally unloaded from Tortugas.

By "Cleaning" should I assume you mean Fumigation by Customs ?

Finally landed in NSW, although we still have no clear idea if they have already been, or are yet to be cleared and released by Customs, and no info on a timeframe.
