So what if you have all Brembos already but no drift brake? Can you just add the drift brake and code it into forescan

Thank you for these, Going to give it some study. It just seems in this day and age of prewiring for everything and cost savings, for them to make an entire new dash harness seems a waste of resources. Typically manufactures would put this on a pigtail, where they only need to swap out the sub harness for the differing brake offerings.

I think the electronic parking brake switch is my one major annoyance of the car. I could find no manual 401a gt models with the performance pack and drift brake in my area.

I did find a black one with the brembo option, but normal parking brake switch. I almost picked it, but the vapor blue is such a better color. It had the same options minus the brembos.

Hopefully this conversion is doable, I don't see why it can't be done for a reasonable cost.
there is one more barrier; the center console. getting a new center console that has the space for the drift brake is expensive, $1000+

that's what is currently being found out. as of now, it looks like a new dash wiring harness is required, but maybe re-pinning the connector would work

I’m looking for take off front 6-piston calipers and rotors if someone finds a vehicle set and only wants the rears.

no, because the S550 non-shelbys use a mechanical parking brake in the rear caliper, plus different mounting

Is it possible to just install the front Brembo brake parts and leave the standard GT rear brake as is? Seems a lot of parts and complication for not a lot of square inch change on the rear.

69% aesthetics, 31% to have a better brake bias for those of us who brembo swapped the fronts

This thread sounds similar to what I went through with my old car. I bought my S550 off the dealer lot and it had 90% of the options I wanted. I figured it was no big deal as it was almost what I would have ordered. After a year of driving the car and looking into adding the options I was missing only to find out how expensive and difficult it would be, I said I would try not to buy another car that was less than 100% what I was looking for. When the S650 came out, I placed an order with exactly the options I wanted. No regrets this time. I’ve found most factory options are tough to justify adding after the fact.

Since you guys know more than me , I am curious about the BREMBO's optioned on my car with the NP package..

It isn't a PP , so it has std switch not a drift brake handle.
Does the drift brake operate the small additional brake caliper that std cars don't have , or the main (BREMBO) rear caliper ? I assumed it used that small additional one , but I am ignorant on these things.. ?

If so ,would my switch "essentially" do what the drift brake handle does , because it has the upgraded BREMBO brake package ?

Don't beat me up if dumb questions , I don't know cars like I do trucks. Thanks!
