I have not experienced this.

Mine blew away the 265s on the shift in Drag Strip mode,
lol, I'm sure you're blowing the tires off it, you got that special one.

Apparently my wording has some people on edge.

So,

I am sorry you car is broken. My car seems fine under all accelerations events i have done to this point. It has a May 2024 build date, incase that is helpful.

I have put the car in Drag Strip mode once and during the shift the tires spun, not chrip, spun so i shut it down. When I raced in a previous life this is what we used to call "blew the tires away" as a reference for describing the event. Not blow the tires off.

I referenced the 265s because they are ultra high perfomance all-seasons and not the 255s with touring tires, again for reference.

Under certain conditions the GT will close one or both throttle bodies. That’s likely what you’re experiencing
Here is lidio to explain it better

So, I replaced my air filters with the ones @Mastermind46 sells and haven’t been able to replicate the issue. I’ve tried over and over, lol. The original filters were dirty, but not all that hateful. Could it possibly be that these cars are temperamental about air flow??

How? If your driving you’re moving air through the engine bay; maybe something was amiss that you fixed while replacing the filter?

Lol. The filters aren’t filtering air coming through the grille and passing through the radiator to help with engine temps. They are filtering the air coming in through the grille intakes feeding into the throttle bodies, which is why I ask if these cars are temperamental about air flow. If the filters are dirty/restrictive enough that they’re not letting enough air in at WOT could that be the problem I was experiencing.

I think I got misled by the pics, I thought you were suggesting a possible heat soak issue. I see what you’re saying and agree, your filters don’t look dirty enough to be a concern.

Agreed, I'm hoping there not that sensitive to air flow. If the problem arises again the first thing I'm going to do is check the air filters. lol
