First 2024 Mustang Safety Recall (23S61) - Brake Pedal Assemblies

Well, I haven't received a letter yet but my car is included in this recall per my VIN#. Sheesh! I haven't noticed any issues with my brakes yet.

Did you run your VIN through the NHTSA website?

The date your car rolled down the assembly line.

I'm just wondering if this is a brake pedal issue for automatic or manual transmissions. You have an auto so perhaps that's a common thread? I ran my VIN and it came back with nothing. I have a manual.

nope …mines an auto checked vin # its all good ..plus its only 60 of them as i read ..and they made thousands

Of course, mine would be one with the possible issue!

The NHTSA website is very misleading cause when I keyed in my Vin, I get this result:

Looks like that is for the 2024 Mustang in general and not specifically for yours
