@roket .....exactly, well said! The guy who was in the news was no where near the end of his oem warranty period. His point was when he purchased that extended warranty he knew the dealer was making a tidy profit and he thought that would also buy him some "good will" along with the extra coverage. So far that has not happened. Posters on this forum who have discussed the new WiFi tattletale aspects of our cars may well be onto something!
