Ford License Plate Frame $22 Bucks

I purchased a Ford Licensed plate frame from Amazon for $22 made out of black polycarbonate material. Made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty. I know not everyone will I like it, but I do.

@Grabber1 ..... awesome tip. I sanded down the one provided by my dealer (I don't advertise) and painted it flat black. Yours is waaaay better. Maybe Bezos will give you a cut?

Honestly… not a fan.

The design is clunky with the font and image being too large and not leaving much in the way of white space. And something about the weighting of the text vs the symbol makes it look right-heavy. Like the alignment is off - even though technically it isn’t. That’s because no one solved the optical issues here.

but really… it’s not as if the car needs more labels and symbols on it.

it ends up looking cluttered. Just get a nice minimal, thin, sleek frame with nothing on it. The car will look so much better.

if you are the one designing these and selling on Amazon, I would suggest a redesign taking the weighting into effect.

In some cases, license plate frame cover up the year sticker, and that 's not good. Florida and a lot o other states will fine you for doing that.

Had one that did that in California. Ended up frameless with thick double sided tape (with the side touching the paint still covered) on the back of the plate to stop it from rattling until I found a nice, slim bezel. Perfect. Let the car shine. All the stuff you add onto it just ends up taking away from the car itself.

For my last Mustang I got the "official" Ford Performance Racing plate and the 2 Ford oval badges on the plate fell off quickly. Lessons learned.

Bummer. This inexpensive plate is 1 piece polycarbonate mold. The letters and emblem are slightly raised.
