The Ford X account is useless. Been waiting for a call from Ford as stated by a ford rep on their X account and nothing. I feel if anything goes wrong with this car I’m screwed.

Wow. That sucks. Ford just downgrading everywhere these days…

..but charging more.

how difficult was it to monitor a forum? Just have people tag you when they have an issue and respond with a 10 second message. Sheesh.

not a good look at all.

Wait… did they think anyone actually thought they monitored this? That’s so cute.

@DarkMatterGrey ....not so sure about the XL17 - I assume you are referring to the additive that some speculate prevents the BBQ tick that appears on some Mustangs after the first oil change? I have not heard of the BBQ Tick happening when an owner uses FULL synthetic and prefills the oil filter. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if Ford did use a break-in factory additive but then why wouldn't they market it and make some cash?
I used full synthetic and it definitely is loud. Goes away after a thousand or so miles on the oil it goes away. But fresh yes it’s annoying.
