The Ford X account is useless. Been waiting for a call from Ford as stated by a ford rep on their X account and nothing. I feel if anything goes wrong with this car I’m screwed.
Just curious to everyone who thinks the sky is falling...what do you think people who aren't on these forums do when they need warranty work done? If you ask me it was a waste of money for Ford to have someone on all these forums. There are other more effective electronic and non electronic means to get a hold of someone in Dearborn. At least Ford gave the trolls something to gripe about.

Now...back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I tend to disagree. You have to remember that these folks who get the responses to inquiries are on the social media team, and very likely not empowered to speak on behalf of FMC.

That said, they’re human beings with cars too, and I can say that direct, end user input absolutely is relayed back to corporate from social media and as a business, you ignore that feedback at your peril.

Ford lost thousands of Raptor customers to the TRX for dismissing Ram before 2020. It took 3 model years to react with the Raptor R And even then, the Number of them in the first MY was very low.

Yeah, I’m sure we have some entry level AI managing the level 1 responses but there were people behind it and that was one more venue to drive improvements, document issues and possibly Id safety concerns

So I’m kinda disappointed

I was always amused when people here would tag what is essentially a social media rep with technical, warranty, or sales related issues.

All that was posted was just some generic "That's a beautiful car, thanks for sharing, and being part of the Ford family". etc 🤮

Which of course would give a [deliberate] false impression that FoMoCo was listening.

This PR could have been outsourced to India, Mexico, or who knows where, just to give the illusion that the Manufacturer is engaging with customers. There was never going to be any direct link back to decision makers.

But I wonder if this had anything to do with it?
On going hacks.

And here I thought the announcement was going to be [meme spoiler ahead] "I've come to make an announcement, the Mustang7G forums are a BAMF! They crapped all over my beautiful Mustang..."

Or a Mustang sedan...or a Mustang Regera/Gemera...or a Mustang Prius...or...

When Ford announced themselves here a year ago, I thought “great. They aren’t pretending to not read these posts anymore and are genuinely engaging the community “

had no idea it would devolve into just a few generic posts - because it was really just a tech support gateway.

‘’’and one that somehow proved overwhelming. After one year? Really? Such a sad missed opportunity, a slap in the face and letdown for us, and a shameful move overall.

come on Ford, get your act together. From underperforming supercars to exorbitant prices, to inexplicably degrading Mustang customization and performance in 2025, to this. Dang. What the heck is going on in Dearborn?
