Is there any way to free up the reduced power of the European models and match the power of the American ones? It is frustrating to know you are loosing some 33/40HP

@CaesarX ..... are you not subject to random testing in EU countries? Also, I would check to make sure you don't violate that 5 YEAR powertrain warranty as that is a very good warranty for you and for resale.

I see two options here:

- Just remove the opf filter, but it's illegal so I wouldn't recommend that (but some people do that anyway and put it back before the inspections)
-Go beast mode and install this to get 800+ hp https://steeda.eu.com/products/whipple-mustang-gt-dark-horse-supercharger-system-2024

I don't think it's just about the software.. but also a mechanical difference (ie: the GPF filter). Also, how the HP are tested between the US and EU, you would find that the difference is negligible (I've seen that with my previous Bullitt), so it's not worth to play with the warranty to gain almost nothing.

Previously I owned a S550 and I felt it a little bit more nervous, the S650 I feel heavier and, very extrange, higher fuel consumption.
With this car I have the feeling that has as an electronic filter that limits the power at any rpm ramge, I feel it lazy. This push me to use more the accelerator and propably this is the reason of the higher fuel consumption.

Not sure.. I feel the opposite, but I switched from manual to automatic, so i can't tell.
About the fuel consumption, oddly i drive more calm now (higher gear because of the AT.. i don't tend to be in hi-rev) and my fuel consumption has increased... dunno why.

The Coyote needs a good 3k miles to give the best fuel consumption. My auto S550 was doing 25mpg when new then averaged 30mpg when properly run in. My S650 auto has already gone from 24mpg to 26 mpg and still under 1k miles.

If you live in one of those countries that is trying to ban gas stoves and fireplaces then your only sustainable option is to vote the idiots out of power.
