Ford is currently offering 25% off with code 'FIREWORKS25' in case any of you are on the fence on getting this.

Please excuse my ignorance, but is this chin spoiler larger than the one that comes on a GT with the Performance Package?
yes, the GTPP "splitter" is more of a front lip with winglets on the side

Was curious too, as the diff. appears to be slight. The GTPP front splitter is about 1/2" deep mid section and 1-3/4" deep on the winglets. From the naked eye, it would appear the diff. is in the mid section, not substantial.

I'm planning to get this lip splitter. Did it decrease the ground clearance? My driveway has a high curb and I dont know if it will scrape it
As another poster mentioned, ground clearance change is minimal, maybe about 1 inch in total. It actually lines the chin splitter up better with the rocker panels, IMO. Also as mentioned, not sure why this isn't the standard splitter as the factory splitter is just weak for a performance car.

Yeah, I was going to get the RTR one but after coming across this thread, I think I will be getting this instead. I also have a grabber blue GT, you have any pictures of the new splitter of your car?
Not sure if you purchased yet, but here is another option that I found after I had already purchased mine. It appears to be very similar to the Ford part except its a bolt-on instead of a glue-on. I would have preferred the bolt-on (remove the old) as I was leery about a glue-on splitter. So far so good with the glue-on, but its an option for those interested

Thanks to all for buzzing me up to buy an AD Front Splitter!

FYI: I discovered a $140 price difference between the 3 vendors I checked out this AM. So YOU may wish to shop around if you're considering buying one for your GT.

Ford=$348 and change include 6% MI sales tax and shipping (9.95 to my ZIP)

CJPonyparts=$388 and change; included FREE shipping, MI ST, and 7-8 bucks for shipping insurance.

Steeda=$488 and change; $300/splitter & $158 for shipping! +MI ST and 7-8 bucks for shipping insurance.

Yes it is the pp spoiler is just the base style with two flares at the corner. The middle section may or may not be larger on the fa tory part if so not by much.

I believe Ford decided on the PP style spoiler could ship on the car without damage. Mine just clears when driving onto my lift. The DH ships uninstalled as it would be damaged in shipping. I am sure dealers are happy not having to install PP spoilers.

Hell its not even a splitter more like a piece of anti rub trim. The base s550 had a larger one then the pp s650.
