I really don't see a problem with the price giving that an intake for a 23 GT is over $400 and that is a single tube/single MAF housing and single filter.

$ to power id agree the price doesn't really add up, but intakes haven't made a lot of power in a long time.

That said I don't see an issue and look at it as a more of a cosmetic mode with a little power benefit.

I do wish the tubes were a different material and I wont get the ones with the Logo. But I will get them if I don't get a SC first.

Looks like a well designed product and based on installation photo's appears to have good fitment. Nice to see options coming to market for underhood dress/up and/or performance gains. I've never had a Steeda product in my Mustangs so no first hand experience but they have a solid reputation.
Will be interesting to see these in the wild and get opinions/data.

Nothing to do with Steeda here.. but this just makes it blatantly clear how LAME Ford is being about tuning these cars. Want to sell more Mustangs, let us tune them. AND NOT attached to a $12k supercharger.

Most everything Steeda is overpriced - look on their web site find a part and in most cases it will be 5% or more higher than anyone else, it's a fact - no BS. I guess it's the money they have to pay the chubby guy with the polo shirts advertising their products ...

If you want to waste your money on a CAI wait for the J&L / S&B it will be released shortly they have spent an enormous amount of time doing R&D on it to the point that they have lost a lot of sales to K&N and Steeda who rushed out STUPID LOOKING inferior products - just to be first, and secure the impatient customers.

They do have a dyno before and after though they used std for the stock intake run and sae for the jlt. Makes it look like it lost power when it didn't without a tune it picked up about 7hp and 7 tq overall and seemed to be slightly better across the range. It actually looks like a good intake

Actually, I did see that on YT reason why I suggested J&L / S&B they typically make great products with down to earth pricing. If my memory serves me correctly the new unit will be around $459 or something. Should release in 3 or 4 weeks I’ve been told.

Kooks headers are a really good upgrade, great company. Also, Corsa exhaust, UPR products, Ridetech suspension, Nitto tires, Weld wheels, real outside the box thinking companies making great products, not copycatting others ideas.
