Hood shaking / vibrating

Since I'm out driving along distance for Christmas I'm moving along at "highway'isph" speeds. While doing so I noticed that at higher speeds my hours is shaking as if the air is flowing badly around it.

It's anybody else seeing this? Or is it normal and I shouldn't worry about it?

Have not seen it on ours. There are adjustment bumpers on the underside of the hood that may help seat / align a tad better.

This is common with S550 and S650. You should see it shake at race track speeds of 120+ mph. Nothing to worry about!

Mine does that. Since the hood hasn't flown off, I was waiting until I brought it in for its first service to have it checked out.

don't worry about it. i've gotten over 150mph and my hood is still on solid, so yours is gonna be fine

I adjusted the bump stops on my hood. It was shaking quite a bit on the highway. After adjusting the stops it now has very little movement.

I just noticed on TX45 ( speed limit is 85, most traffic is going 90+ ). The shake was concerning when I had “unclean air”, behind some peasant car at speed, etc. I guess I’ll be looking at the hood stops.

adding in my 2 cents. I never had the issue on my S550 but my 650 did this. I adjusted the rubber stoppers down few turns and it stopped about 98% of the shake
