How to interpret Ford Online Vehicle Tracker + Tips & Tricks

The entire process appears to be almost random, but I get the realities of manufacturing. I've been in automotive for nearly 40 years.

In my case, I ordered late February, got an immediate confirmation email, then a few weeks ago an email saying it was scheduled week of 5/6. I didn't hit the track my order button until a few days later and the timeline showed scheduled week of 4/29.

No emails since but today it shoes as 'in production' and still scheduled 4/29. I get no option to view the window sticker (do others?).

I can see the window sticker using other methods and it shows a blend date of 4/29.

I'm still in "when it comes, it comes" mode, but what an unnecessarily confusing system.

Hi all, I ordered a GT convertible for export market (Europe) in January, still i cannot access to the window sticker, the system says that has not been created yet. But my dealer says that Ford reported that the car is in transit to Europe in the middle of the ocean... departed from Newark on 30th of April... how can i track it???

In the US, once the car has shipped the dealer is about the only way to track it. Not sure how it works in EU... If your dealer told you where it is, he's probably got the most info.

My window sticker was unavailable after the car shipped... don't know the rhyme or reason. Sorry I can't be more help.

My tracker says production scheduled week of 9/9/2024. Today, with an update shown with today's date 8/29/24, the tracker says your car is in production however there is no date with the in-production milestone on the timeline. What does this mean? Is it a glitch? Is it really in production early?

“When your vehicle is BUILT, you will see a date under "In Production".”
that said l, it kind of sounds like maybe your build is just starting. But probably already built

Mine is scheduled for the week of 12/9, today the tracker moved to "in production" without a date
