Love it or hate it, the remote rev function is going to be something many S650 owners use at your local car show or for showing off their exhaust on social media. We have put together a quick and easy guide for you to learn how to use your remote rev function on your S650 Mustang

REMOVE REV LIMITATIONS
According to Ford, the remote rev will not function or will deactivate in the following conditions:

• The engine is off.
• The remote control is not working.
• The remote control is out of range.
• The transmission is not in park.
• The accelerator or brake pedal is pressed.
• The engine oil temperature is too high or too low.
• The engine coolant temperature is too high or too low.
• The engine speed is not at stable idle condition.
• The automatic engine shutdown is activated.
• Any system fault is detected.

Important Note: Do not start the engine in a closed garage or in other enclosed areas. Exhaust fumes are toxic. Always open the garage door before you start the engine. Failure to follow this instruction could result in personal injury or death.

HOW TO USE 2024 MUSTANG REMOTE REV FUNCTION

1. Start the engine
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Press the unlock button on the remote control.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Within 3 seconds, press the lock button on the remote control. (Engine RPM quickly increases to confirm that the feature is enabled)
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. With remote rev enabled, press the unlock button on the remote control.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Within three seconds, press the lock button on the remote control.
   
   
   

Note: The engine accelerates strongly

Note: You can still lock or unlock your vehicle when using the feature

Note: If your vehicle has active exhaust, it automatically switches to track position to enhance engine sound and feature experience. It returns to the initial position once the feature is disabled.

you only need active exhaust for remote rev on the EcoBoost. otherwise, you need the auto transmission

A couple dumb question:
Remote start never works in a standard transmission?
Is it accessible to use the function screen without the engine running seeing that there isn’t a accessary on the start-stop switch?

nope, no remote start on manual for legal reasons i'm sure. yes, you can use the screens when in accessory mode

Thats odd. Once the car is turned on, I usually have to wait about 30 seconds for the rpms to come down before it works
