Wifey and I regularly take trips from Eastern Long Island NY to upstate NY or southern Vermont. We used to play a game counting each Prius we saw along the way. Yea I know, it's lame... Passes the time though... So NOW, the fun thing to do is pull up next to an EV car and decelerate and let that exhaust sing. It's hilarious the looks I get as if I am killing the earth via climate change and so forth. I've got to start videoing these. And BTW, Camaro, Dodge and other Mustang owners give me the high five. We are all brothers in preserving the muscle car. At my age, it's the little things in life... hahahha.

I daily a Mach-e and find it very funny every time someone with a sporty car does this to me. It's extra comical when it's another Mustang owner judging me lol

I had a highly modified C5 Corvette several years ago that was very loud. I did the same thing. I had Prius drivers give me that look and then roll up their window when I was next to them at a stoplight. Yup, us old folks are easily amused. :like:

I honestly doubt it has the effect on EV drivers that you might assume, especially when the Mach E GT runs away from a 5.0 in a stop light to stop light contest. But we all do it I suppose, my Harley group may or may not take a detour through the local high end shopping mall parking garage seeing how many alarms we can set off.

Big giant smile. Always had the most fun when it happened while just trolling along, not revving just idling along and then, yep there’s one…
